Education activities undertaken by teachers are inevitably linked to the learning processes that, following his instructions, carried out by students. The objective of teachers and students is always the achievement of specific educational objectives and the key to success is that students are able and willing to perform cognitive operations suitable for it, interacting well with the educational resources at your fingertips.

Of all these activities, educational interventions in the proposal and consistent monitoring of a series of educational activities for students to facilitate their learning are what is called the teaching act, and represents the most emblematic work of teachers.
Currently it is considered that the role of teachers in the teaching act is basically to provide resources and diversified learning environments to students, motivating them to strive (to give meaning to the learning objectives, guide them emphasize their utility …), ( in the learning process in the development of expressive skills …) and advise in a personal way (in the planning of tasks, teamwork …); however, over time there have been various views on how education should be performed, and consequently on the roles of teachers and the main functions of educational resources, relevant mediators in student learning.
