If you answered yes to all these questions then you have addressed the main disadvantages of home schooling. These disadvantages vary in intensity based on individual circumstances, but can be overcome through local support groups and educational resources.

The mastery in each subject and the art of teaching are among the biggest disadvantages of home schooling. Certified teachers of public schools took several courses in disabilities teaching methods, strategies, and learning. Specific classes of heavy content area are also taken.

They must also pass the Praxis examination and adhere to state standards before they can teach in the public school system. As home school parent, you are not required to go through these rigorous courses and examinations. Therefore, you must be honest with yourself and accurately assess their abilities.

Time is another factor. Although schedules are flexible home schooling, academic work should be a successful way or another. It is up to you as a parent to keep the train running and productive learning.

Lastly, you need to deal with people who see home schooling as a low form of education. You need to stick by your choice and feel confident that you are doing what is best for your child.
